We really are in uncharted waters with the BOC and the 7 interest rate hikes for 2022. At this time last year's inflation was not seen as a big problem, and interest rates were going to be staying low. 10 weeks later we had the first of 7 consecutive hikes. What impact will this have on sellers and buyers? Inventory remains low which has been keeping prices from falling too much so far. What about home owners who have been using home equity lines of credit? Only time will tell as we move into 2023.
