Time for another one of my Real Estate investing 101 blogs. In this video I’m going to talk about the importance of attracting good long term tenants and keeping them for a good long time. One of the biggest frustrations in being a landlord other than getting a bad tenant is tenancy turnover. As a landlord you should try and do everything in your power to keep good quality long term tenants. One of the best ways to do this is don’t nickel and dime them on rent increases every year. If their taking good care of the place and paying their rent on time….Leave them alone and keep the rent where it is. Remember with every tenant change you run the risk of loosing an entire months rent if you can’t find a good quality tenant before the end of the month.
