Interesting article in the November issue of BC Business Magazine talking about Downtown Vancouver's booming Tech industry and how their high paid employees want to live and work in the downtown core. I have seen this first hand in the type of tenants I have been getting over the past 10 years. In the past, many of my tenants and buying clients were in retail or the service industry. Now most of my tenants and buying clients are young professionals with many being in the tech industry.
Just got back from my annual trip to New York City were I attended an investing summit by a well established Wall St private equity firm. One of the main takeaways from this year's summit was the power of keeping your eye on the big picture and how powerful simply buying & holding quality real estate and equities can be. We're living in an age of too much information and how paying too much attention to the short term volatility of the markets is causing investors to miss out on massive long term gains.
I just sold this Townhouse at 24 6110 138 STREET, Surrey, BC Sullivan Station.
