There are a lot of people out there who don’t understand the difference between and investor and a trader or speculator. An investor is only concerned with the long term. A trader or speculator is focused on the short term. In this video I’m going to explain the difference and the investor mindset that I have when buying equites as well as Real Estate.
Investing and creating passive income is the only way you’re going to create any type of wealth. Your pay checks and a savings account at the bank are not going to do it. You need to put your money to work for you. So many people want to complicate things. I’m here to tell you the process is quite simple if you just follow a few important philosophies. Buy right and hold tight is by far the simplest way to do it. Unfortunately so many people want to focus on the short term. What if I buy my house today and 2 years from now the market drops 20%? If you have the investor mindset this type of scenario should never cross your mind. Investors know that a 20% correction will correct. It’s just short term. Corrections are very normal and should be expected, markets never go up in a straight line. Remember you’re an investor, you should only be focused on what you think your house might be worth 20 or 25 years down the road. That’s all that matters. That’s what being an investor and a home owner is all about. Condition yourself with this investor mindset and you will be on your way to creating wealth and a comfortable retirement.
