I have to laugh when people talk about being priced out of the Vancouver detached market. Some seem to think they are entitled to find a job and be able to buy that dream home in their 20’s or 30’s. Unfortunately Vancouver is like most desirable cities where you're not under 2ft of snow for most of the year. It’s expensive to buy a detached home. Most people here start with a Strata property, work hard, save their money and move up the property ladder.
