Last week I tweeted a link to an article discussing the City of Vancouver's approval of a new waterfront social housing development in Coal Harbour. I questioned would it not be a better approach for the City to sell this extremely valuable parcel of waterfront land, take the money and build far more units in a less expensive area of the city?
