I had one of my subscribers post a comment to my YouTube blog with a link to an article written in the Globe & Mail about how young people in Canada are choosing to rent vs owning. It came with a link to some completely inaccurate cost to rent index. It went on to say how renting and saving the difference is better than owning. In this video I will point out how inaccurate and downright wrong this article is. All the young people I meet every week in my business can easily see the advantages of buying vs being a lifetime renter. The difficulty for most young people today is getting the money for the downpayment.
